Grain Free Granola Clusters

Ingredients

  • 220 slivered raw almonds
  • 150cup raw pecans
  • 110 raw walnuts
  • 50 chia seeds
  • 15 flaxseed meal
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 50ml coconut oil
  • 120g agave
  • 40g chopped dates or dried fruit
  • 40g desiccated coconut

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 165°C.
  2. In a large mixing bowl combine all your dry ingredients.
  3. In a small saucepan, warm the coconut oil and agave syrup and pour over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly onto a large oiled baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and add the dried fruit and coconut and stir well and press it firmly down to create clusters.
  6. Return to the oven for another 8-10 minutes until it’s starting to crisp on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool completely before storing in a container with an airtight seal.
